Annie is soon to be everyone's favourite pop star despite the fact that she's never acted on Neighbours.

Annie is the kind of artist that makes a record company rich. An international crossover success not seen since Kylie, Annie's debut record is pure pop, bouncing beats and shiny whispered vocals that is so popular with the record buying public, yet her disco roots have meant that Annie's first admirers were the cool kids who scorn commercial music.

Annie walks the line with ease, some tracks have dark undertones, but the majority of Anniemal is about as infectious as pop comes. The record starts strong but loses its fresh feel towards the end, but that won't stop Annie being your little sister's new favourite singer.
