Roseville Uniting Church Friday College Art Group held an art exhibition in order to raise the profile of the college and help local organisation Ku-ring-gai Youth Development Service (KYDS).

The paintings on display were painted by members of Friday College Art Group, which meets on Fridays during term time at Roseville Uniting Church.

Proceeds from the sale of the paintings went towards helping KYDS continue the support they provide the community by offering counselling to local youths and their families.

A larger than expected crowd turned out, resulting in a profitable night for the artists and KYDS.

Over $1,000 was raised for the local community service.

"It was a spectacular success, we couldn't have asked for more." Harry Smith, one of the organisers of the event said.
